The cost of recruiting executive profiles has never been so high. The cancellation fees, the starting fees, the short list fees, the exclusivity period, all this belong to a passed era.

When all the companies go Agile and work differently, when companies outsource or contract part of their business, when companies do change their way of organizing themselves, being flexible, working in open spaces or at home, when the business itself becomes more difficult to get and to keep, when all these changes are happening, the recruitment market hasn’t change at all.

How

A completely different business model:

When contracting with an external recruitment company, you are generally facing the:

  • Classical ones: 30|30|40 – starting the mission: 30% of the budget – shortlist: 30% of the budget – recruitment: 40% of the budget
  • No cure no pay ones: 100% of the budget paid when the candidate has been recruited

The first system makes you feel you don’t have the choice. Once you go for it, you generally don’t stop the process, as you will be charge either way.

The second system just do not deliver good results: you are one of a million for the recruitment company, just opening a lot of doors and sending profiles to all clients at the same time

B.A.N.G.O. Consulting has decided to work on a different approach:

In house recruitment services

You get a senior recruitment expert at your premises recruiting, assessing, interviewing, sourcing candidates, for your company. You pay as you use, no hidden cost. There is a daily fee agreed at the beginning of the contract and it doesn’t change during the entire mission. With this solution, you decrease the amount of money you would have invested in recruitment agencies.

Also, you manage your budget: full time, part time, 1 day a week, it’s up to you.

Outsourced recruitment consultant

You get a senior recruitment expert, dedicated to your activity, recruiting, assessing, interviewing and sourcing candidates, for your company, at our premises.

This solution is made for companies who can’t receive an extra ETP on premise or who don’t want to do so for confidential matters.

Here, as in the Inhouse solution, you pay as you use. Off course, the cost is different as B.A.N.G.O. Consulting will pay for all the costs in line with the recruitment of your candidates: job boards, assessment centres, locations, catering, …

On Result Fee

Imagine you have 25 IT open positions to strengthen your organization. The 2 firsts solutions will not help you fast enough to make the business happy. In that case, B.A.N.G.O. Consulting has a solution: we determine together an acceptable fee for each recruitment. The fee will be 25 times the same, either you are looking for a 20 years’ experience Enterprise Architect as for a junior Java developer. We do agree on a time frame, a location to make the interviews and the process to follow. For the rest, you pay only on recruitment’s result.

But not the classical one! For clients interested in working with a recruitment agency, B.A.N.G.O. Consulting proposes this option:

Instead of asking for a starting fee, a shortlist fee and then the recruitment fee based on a 30% of the annual salary of the candidate, we consider that if you pay at the beginning of the collaboration, it is to get a discount. This is why we do apply a 25% fee on the recruitment and ask a third of this fee when submitting you the short list of candidates

Who

B.A.N.G.O. Consulting has been created by Nicolas Vandervinne in 2015

Nicolas has been graduated in 2009 from ICHEC Brussels Management School, with a master in International Management.

Nicolas started his career in a Big 4 as a consultant.

He rapidly switched to the commercial and recruitment side of the job, being Business Manager, Key Account Manager and finally Benelux Director in IT and Engineering Consulting companies in Belgium.

In 2015 he decided to only focus on what he loves the most: recruiting the best talents.

Being sure there was something missing on the market, he started B.A.N.G.O. Consulting and started as Senior Inhouse Recruitment Consultant for different clients in Belgium.

Today, he spreads his time between, working at client’s site, working on executive searches at B.A.N.G.O. Consulting premises and coaching and developing a team of recruitment experts to serve B.A.N.G.O. Consulting’s clients.

Nicolas has mainly focused his time on:

  • IT profiles (technical and functional),
  • Sales profiles,
  • High level Administrative profiles,
  • Finance profiles,
  • HR profiles.

He has a very strong knowledge and network on the functional side: Business Analyst, Functional Analysts, Data Analysts, Project Managers, Program Managers, PMO’s, PSO’s,  …

To cover all the activity fields of his clients, Nicolas recruited a team of Senior Recruitment Experts to also cover:

  • Finance,
  • Logistic,
  • Supply Chain.

B.A.N.G.O. Consulting is a company hold by Nicolas Vandervinne. The success of each mission is then crucial to strengthen the position of the company on the market and acquire new clients.

After having spent nearly 10 years on the business market, in the recruitment and sales, we’ve observed this point on the market: young graduates aren’t prepared to go on recruitment interviews.

This isn’t something universities or schools do organize for students. While the quality of the resume is good for young applicants, the way they behave, answer, keep in touch isn’t always the best one.

Knowing that 75% of the work is done through a nonverbal behaviour, you might consider this as absolutely crucial to get the job you want on the market.

Therefore, we created a methodology in order to help young graduates but also people willing to develop these skills, in order to help them to be the best during and after interviews.
